About Us
Monday-Friday 7am-6pm
The Claremont United Church of Christ Early Childhood Center strives to provide nurturing and quality education in a loving, safe and stimulating environment, which allows young children a variety of experiences-social, physical, emotional, cognitive and creative. Our dedication in providing an educational environment where children can grow and build self-esteem comes together through the support of our staff, our families and the community.
Directors Welcome
Welcome to the Early Childhood Center at the Claremont United Church of Christ! We are so happy you are here!
βAt ECC, we believe childhood is something to be cherished. Our goal is to provide a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe to explore, create, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Through play-based experiences, meaningful relationships, and hands-on discovery, we support the whole child socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
β
For many families, ECC becomes more than just a preschool, it becomes a community. We are honored to partner with families during these important early years and are grateful for the trust they place in us each day.
β
Our dedicated teachers work thoughtfully to create classrooms filled with wonder, curiosity, kindness, and joy. Whether your child is taking their very first steps into a classroom or preparing for kindergarten, we are committed to helping them grow with confidence and care.
We look forward to sharing in your child’s journey and creating meaningful memories together.

Play Based
At the Early Childhood Center, we believe that children learn best through play. Our play-based philosophy allows children to explore, experiment, create, and discover in ways that are meaningful to them. Through hands-on experiences, imaginative play, and rich interactions with teachers and peers, children build important skills in problem-solving, language, social development, and confidence.
